Full range of services for Moms and their families

We offer a wide range of services to support and empower moms and moms-to-be throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey, including prenatal consultations, birth planning, continuous labor support, breastfeeding education, and postpartum care.

Prenatal Care

Offers non-clinical support to expectant mothers and families as their pregnancy progresses. Offers education on the pregnancy and birth process. Prepares family for labor and birth with education, homebirth/hospital birth expectations, drafting a birth plan, as well as emotional and physical support.

Postpartum Care

Provides post-birth care in the client’s home. Doula offers an array of services such as: providing mental, emotional, and physical support to new mothers and families. 
Newborn education and support. 
Breastfeeding/pumping/formula feeding education and support.
Meal planning and preparation. 
Baby Laundry, Nursery organization.

Labor/Birth support

Provides on-call, non-clinical support in the birth room (hospital, home birth, and birthing center alike.) Provides support to birthing partners and instruction on comfort measures for laboring mothers. Aids to reduce the risk of unwarranted interventions. Provides assistance to expedite labor whether the mother is medicated or non-medicated. Advocates for the family and interprets any complex medical language so the family can make informed decisions. Sets and maintains the atmosphere according to the standards of the birth plan. 

Overnight Newborn Care

Shifting solely to the role of newborn care specialist, infant care is rendered in the client’s home anywhere between the hours of 7 pm-8 am with a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Doula aims to aid new parents in their first few weeks of life at home. Doula cares for infant(s) allowing newer parents to get much-needed rest. Recommendations are provided to reach infant sleeping goals by the end of the contract. 

Pro-Bono Doula Services: BIPOC families with lower income are still eligible for services based on availability. Please consult with the head Doula for more information about how to obtain services for a lower cost or even free of charge.
